Local Bully is a line of hand illustrated and printed dog-themed tees with a lick of humor that seeks to join the universal fight against breed restrictions, breed specific legislation, pet breeding, and animal abuse. Did you know that pit bulls make up 33% of dogs in shelters across the nation? Because of these high numbers, close to a million pit bulls are euthanized every year. On average, that
is 2,800 pit bulls per day. And that's not counting all the dogs unaccounted for by backyard breeders and dog fighting organizations across the U.S. We believe wholeheartedly in the rescue, rehabilitation, fostering, rehoming, and loving of not only pit bulls, but all furry creatures that need a helping hand. With every purchase, we contribute 20% of all proceeds to animal rescue and welfare organizations around the world. It takes a lot of people and resources to save even one life. To support and say thank you to all the people who work tirelessly to get medical care for rescues, to schedule freedom rides, to find foster homes, who cry over the dogs and cats that didn't make it, who do home checks to make sure the dogs go to a loving home, who exhibit so much bravery in the face of overwhelming prejudice, just so people like us can learn about life, love, and hairballs, we decided to launch Local Bully to do our part. Be assured that when you buy a shirt at Local Bully, you help save a life. Causes We Support:
