The things we surround ourselves with should tell the story of who we are, where we’ve been, and the people we love 💕 . A cherished object isn’t just a vase, a painting, a book, or a piece of furniture — it’s a memory keeper. It carries a story, a season of life, a connection to someone special. My whole home tells a story piece by piece! You can feel it when you come in- most people verbalize it when they arrive!

🚨 Estate Sale Hunt: The Great Foo Dog Chase 🐉

Let’s go hunting.

I spotted the listing… and there they were. The foo dogs I’ve been hoping for.

Now I’m standing in a line that feels a mile long after parking what actually feels like half a mile away. I hoofed it through this Texas heat, I’m dripping with sweat, it’s already hot enough to fry an egg, and I haven’t even made it through the front door.

At this point, I’m questioning all of my life choices. 😂

Will the foo dogs still be there?
Will someone grab them before me?
Are they even worth all this?

This is estate sale hunting in real life. Equal parts treasure hunt, cardio, and emotional roller coaster.

Part 2 ✨ If you missed Part 1, stop scrolling and go watch that first. It’ll make this one make a whole lot more sense.

I honestly thought I was finished with the business world.

I retired from the floral industry at 37 and was convinced that chapter of my life was over.

Then… my kid decided he wanted to become a pilot. ✈️

So, jokes on me. 😂

What started as weekend thrift trips for clothes turned into something so much bigger. Resurrection wasn’t just built to help fund a dream—it became therapy for me, too.

There’s something incredibly healing about rescuing forgotten pieces, imagining what they could become, and helping someone else create a home that tells their story. God wired me to create, and I finally realized that using those gifts isn’t just good for my business—it’s good for my soul. I was in a bad mental place when I didn’t use my gift! 🎁

Every estate sale, every booth reset, every late-night live sale, every package shipped… it’s all been part of something much bigger than vintage decor.

It’s helped my son chase his dream, it’s helped me protect my mental health, and it’s introduced us to the most incredible community.

To every person who’s shopped with us, shared a post, cheered us on, prayed for us, or simply believed in what we’re building—thank you.

In just a year and a half, you’ve made Resurrection into so much more than a vintage business. It’s a testimony of my orthodox faith, answered prayer to provide, a healing tool and a whole lotta fun!!

Monday after the holiday… we didn’t waste any time!

Bright and early, we were at Magpie Collective | Vintage + Makers giving the booth a complete summer refresh. The red, white, and blue is packed away, and fresh vintage is moving in!

We swept, vacuumed, rearranged, hauled furniture upstairs, unpacked new treasures, and completely reset the space.

It feels fresh, it’s full, and there are so many new finds waiting for you!

First comes the mess… then comes the magic. Everyone tells you the pretty parts of the job. There is also a lot of mess, dirt and cleaning involved 🫠🫣😬

Monday morning, I absolutely destroyed my booth. Seriously—watch those first few clips. It looked like a tornado had rolled through!

But that’s part of the process.

After a lot of moving, rearranging, cleaning, styling, and maybe a little sweating, everything came together. The upstairs got a fresh furniture piece added and a new summer look, the downstairs booth is completely reset, and the whole space is bright, colorful, and full of summertime charm.
