There’s a first time for everything. 🚌✨

On August 25th, we took our very first private Thrift Bus Tour—a bus rented exclusively for one group of ladies. This particular group was an office crew, and what a fun day it was!

Private tours are available for friend groups, church groups, bachelorette parties, office groups, family gatherings—you name it! The sky is the limit. We also offer our public tours, but if you have a group that wants to make a day of it, let’s get you on the books!

I’ll never forget this particular tour because while we were out thrifting, we got the heartbreaking news of Dolly’s passing. Our phones were blowing up as we were getting on the bus, and I couldn’t help but think about something Dolly always said:

“Don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.”

And there we were. A bus full of women stepping away from the office, visiting local shops, laughing, shopping, building friendships, and simply living our lives. ❤️

What a light Dolly was to the world. She will be deeply missed, and I’ll forever think of this first private tour when I think of this quote .

And now… onto the next adventure! 🎄🚌

Flat lay Friday 🐦✨take a stroll and scroll for claims under each picture

A little birdie says, “Welcome to the chaos in this high-class joint. 🐦🥂” It’s Flat lay Friday, and apparently the birds have taken over. 😂

We’ve got vintage matchbooks, jewelry caskets, bird-themed plates, and enough birds to start our own aviary. We’ve got pheasants, quail, owls, phoenixes… standing brass birds, birds on plates, birds on bowls — BIRDS. EVERYWHERE.

And honestly? I’m not mad about it. I’ve also loved birds 🦚 and cats! 🐈

Yes, there’s a difference between interior styling and interior decorating.

I’m not coming into your home to pick out your carpet, choose your trim, or make your space look like a showroom.

I’m coming in to make it look like YOU.

You already know what you love. 💗 You know what catches your eye. You’ve collected pieces that mean something to you. Maybe they’re tucked away in a closet, sitting in a corner, or you simply don’t know how to pull them all together.

That’s where I come in.

Welcome to a vintage wonderland by Resurrection! 💐

This entryway transformation is one of my favorites because this home has SO much personality.

My client has the most incredible collected style. She’s a true flower child who even had a flower farm at one point, so naturally, there are beautiful nods to flowers woven throughout her home. 🌸

And this is an all-girl house, which makes the pops of color, personality, and whimsy even more perfect.

Now look at this before & after! 👀

The wallpaper she chose.
The mirror.
The antique furniture.
Her signage.
Pieces passed down from grandparents and parents.
Unexpected pops of color.
And even a little modern mixed in.

Because honestly? Vintage works BEST when it’s mixed with modern. It keeps things unexpected and allows all those colors, textures, old pieces, and new pieces to play together.
