My leather skiving machine broke, so today I'm doing everything by hand.💪

This step is called skiving—carefully thinning the leather so it can fold beautifully without adding bulk. It's slow, detailed work, but it's part of what makes each pair truly handcrafted.💪

Sometimes the process isn't easy, but quality is always worth the extra effort. ❤️

The finish is intentional. I wanted these hands to reflect the beauty of hard work, creativity, and the marks left by making something with your own hands. Each piece is hand-painted using two layers of color to create this unique effect, then sealed with a high-gloss finish. The base is lined with leather to protect your furniture.

I was born in Peru, and today I am also proudly an American citizen. Having two nationalities doesn't divide my heart—it has enriched my journey.

Being an immigrant isn't about taking opportunities away from anyone. It's about bringing our culture, our craftsmanship, our values, and our dreams to the country that welcomed us. Together, those contributions make America even stronger and more unique.

I couldn't have chosen a better place to grow as an artisan than Wichita. This city believed in my work and gave me the opportunity to build my dream as a shoemaker and artist. Every pair I create is my way of giving something back to the community that believed in me.

Today, I celebrate freedom, opportunity, hard work, and gratitude.
