Taylor and Travis are married!!!

JK… but this is the original Taylor and Travis. 😉 One of our 2025 brides whose gown we had the joy of altering, and we are still completely obsessed with her photos.

Taylor and Travis got married at the most stunning cattle ranch turned wedding venue, with everything set outdoors. But her wedding day? Rainy. Beautifully, wonderfully rainy. Which meant that by the end of the night, her train had seen it all, and she was never able to capture those dreamy photos with her train down.

So her photographers offered to reshoot her bridal and couple portraits afterward, and that is where we came back in.

Taylor brought us her gown, and that outdoor wedding had left its mark, mud, rain, and all. But through our extensive cleaning process, we brought it right back to life, so she could finally have the wedding photos she had always dreamed of.

Because your dress deserves to look just as breathtaking in your photos as it did the moment you put it on.

Nothing quite like watching a bride fall back in love with her dress. 🥹🥹

Halle bought her dream gown a few years before her wedding, and in the time in between, life happened in the most beautiful way. She was blessed with a pregnancy, and by the time her wedding came around after the baby arrived, her body had changed.

She still loved her dress. She just wanted it to fit her the way she had always imagined it would.

So we reworked it to fit her beautifully, adding side panels, weaving in more lace to keep her design seamless, and even changing the bra cups to match her skin tone. Every adjustment made with the same care we give every gown that comes through our doors.

Two looks. One gown. Zero compromises. 😍😍

Brooke came to us with a strapless gown and a vision… she wanted sleeves, but she also did not want to give up the strapless look entirely. So we gave her both.

Brooke was able to order extra fabric straight from her dress designer (something we always recommend, since it guarantees the color matches perfectly). From there, we built everything above that sweetheart neckline from scratch. The straps, the armhole piece, and long sleeves that detach completely, all held together with tiny snaps we hand-sewed one by one.

We started with a mock-up out of scrap fabric to perfect the fit and shape, then fine-tuned the volume through a few fittings until those sleeves sat around her shoulders exactly right.

Come her wedding day she has the versatility to wear them, or not, and feel completely herself either way.

This is what we love about custom work. Taking a gown you already adore and making it do exactly what you dreamed it could. 🤍

Some gowns come to us ready for a few simple tweaks and some… teach us something along the way.

Elsa found a beautiful sample gown off the rack, likely a runway piece, which meant it was never assembled the way a made-to-order dress would be. Gorgeous on the outside, but underneath it was fighting us at every turn, especially through the waistline and the fit of the strapless bodice.

So we did what we do best. We stopped, we reset, and sat down together to really study the dress and solve it as a team. (Mars even problem solved the answer in a dream overnight 😅)

The fix was to completely rebuild the inside structure of the gown from the ground up, so it finally held Elsa the way it was always meant to.

Add her sweet custom sleeves, and the end result is exactly what every bride deserves. A gown that looks like it was made just for her.

Nothing quite like watching a bride feel completely herself. 🥹🥹

Madeline found a beautiful dress at a local boutique, but the neckline was not the one she had pictured. So she trusted us to change it completely and fit the gown to her like it was made for her.

She kept the silhouette clean and let the details do the talking… a long, sweeping veil and an overskirt that turned a simple dress into a statement.

Every detail, exactly the way she wanted it.

Her gown fit so perfectly she never had to think about it. No tugging, no adjusting, no strapless dress sliding out of place. Even the slit was her decision, kept in through every fitting, then closed at the very end so nothing would fly open while she danced.

Congratulations Riley!! 💖💖

Riley came to us with a designer gown she found in LA, and she knew exactly how much care a dress like this deserves. Trusting someone with a gown you have already fallen in love with is no small thing, and we did not take that trust lightly.

Her gown fit her beautifully to start, but the details are what made it hers.

We hemmed it, attached the bow, and reworked her lace bolero so it could live seamlessly inside the gown, sizing it down and adding hidden fasteners so the transition stayed smooth.

The original designer built that bolero to be worn either way, so we redesigned how it attached, giving Riley exactly the look she wanted while still being able to remove it for a second look later in the night. Even the long detachable train needed a little creative reworking to fit together perfectly once everything was in place.

Removable pieces, hidden details, and a gown that transforms with her throughout the day. This is the kind of convertible design we love… one dress, for more than one moment.
