Project SALT

Project SALT Hours: Monday through Friday 10-3. Where: On the corner of Tegner and Coconino Streets at 73 S Tegner St. Wickenburg, Arizona 85390. How do you qualify? No!

We're organization that strives to provide food & clothing for those in need in & around Wickenburg

You can help support us and our mission by donating now at Projectsaltwickenburg.com If you’re hungry, need clothing … you qualify. Simple as that. How often can I visit? You may ‘SHOP’ Project SALT TWICE a month for ONE prepacked food box and ONE bag of clothing per visit. The size of the clothing

bag and food box are determined by the Project SALT volunteers. You may VISIT every day for fellowship, prayer, cold water, sack lunches or to get out of the elements. What do we do? We are an outreach ministry seperate from any church spreading the love of Jesus to Wickenburg and the surrounding area. We offer a community food bank, community clothing closet, and small housewares room. PLEASE NOTE THIS SERVICE CHANGE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
We are unable to provide assistance with DES (food stamps or AHCCCS), state identification or birth certificates going forward. I would encourage you all to contact DES and let them know a DES employee needs to resume visiting Wickenburg regularly like they did pre-covid. Unfortunately, Project SALT cannot fill this void. Help with ID and birth certificates can be found in the valley through a wonderful nonprofit called the Homeless ID Project. Volunteers at Project SALT can provide info for this organization. Is there a fee? All goods and services offered through Project SALT are FREE. Donations:
Please visit the Donation page of the Project SALT website for a list of donations we can accept. Please do not leave donations outside at the Project SALT office or at The Place Church. We accept donations of nonperishable foods, gently used clothing, and acceptable housewares at the Project SALT office during business hours. Feel free to drop off donations at The Place Church during their regular business hours. Items of nonperishable food donations may be left in the collection area in the sanctuary. Thank you!

🎄☀️ Help Us Make Christmas Come Early! ☀️🎄

On July 29th, Project SALT will be hosting our annual Christmas in July Pool Party, and our goal is simple...

We want EVERY child to leave with a gift. 🎁❤️

This event is completely free for our community, and it's only possible because of the incredible generosity of people like you.

We're looking for:
🎁 New, unwrapped gifts for kids of all ages
💵 Monetary donations so we can shop for gifts and fill in the gaps
🤝 Businesses or individuals who would like to sponsor part of the event

No gift is too small, and every dollar helps put a smile on a child's face.

If you'd like to donate, send us a message or stop by Project SALT. Together, we can make this a night these kids will never forget.

Thank you, Wickenburg, for always showing up with big hearts. Let's make some Christmas magic... in the middle of summer! 🎅🏖️❤️

Because of this incredible community, June was another month of lives being touched right here in Wickenburg and the surrounding areas.

❤️ 481 Clothing Visits
Families and individuals were able to shop our clothing closet completely FREE, finding everything from everyday clothes to shoes and more.

🥫 203 Food Boxes
Providing basic groceries and necessities to households every two weeks, helping put food on the table when it's needed most.

🥪 135 Sack Lunches

If you'd like to help us continue serving our neighbors, we'd love to have you join us through volunteering, donating, or simply sharing what we do.

🥪 Can You Help Us Add Something Special to Our Food Boxes? ❤️

At Project SALT , we're blessed to provide families with the basics—things like canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, and even canned meats. But there's one item that we don't provide but regularly makes it into our food boxes thanks to the generosity of several of our donors...

Packaged lunch meats.

Things like:
🌭 Hot Dogs
🥓 Bologna
🥩 Ham
🦃 Turkey
🧀 Lunch meat packs

For many families, these simple items can mean quick sandwiches for the kids, an easy dinner after a long day, or something familiar that brings a little comfort during a difficult season. With summer here several of our donors specifically for those things are off on vacation or gone for the summer.

So we're putting a plea out. If you're heading to the grocery store this week, would you consider grabbing an extra pack or two? Every donation, big or small, helps us serve our neighbors with a little more dignity and a little more variety by providing an additional source of protein to our food boxes.

Donations can be dropped off during our regular hours, or if you need another option, just reach out and we'll make it easy. I'll pull up in my painted truck for a curbside pickup.

Thank you, Wickenburg, for always showing up for your community. Your kindness continues to amaze us. ❤️

Today our hearts are full.

A huge THANK YOU to two amazing young ladies, Miss Karis and Miss Grace, for stopping by Project SALT with nearly 50 pounds of food for our community!

Miss Karis recently celebrated her birthday, and instead of asking for presents, she asked her friends and family to bring food donations for Project SALT. How incredible is that? What a beautiful reminder that generosity has nothing to do with age—it has everything to do with your heart.

These two sweet girls showed us that you are never too young to make a real difference. Their kindness will help fill empty pantries, feed families, and remind others that even the smallest acts of love can have a huge impact.

Miss Karis and Miss Grace, thank you for leading by example. You have inspired all of us, and we couldn't be more proud of you.

, this is what looks like. ❤️

Hey Wickenburg friends! ❤️

Just a quick reminder that Project SALT's new summer hours are now in effect:

☀️ Monday, Wednesday & Friday 🕙 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

These temporary hours are helping us navigate some staffing and volunteer shortages while still making sure we can continue serving our community well.

First, thank you. Seriously. Wickenburg continues to amaze me with its generosity. Every food donation, every bag of clothes, every volunteer hour, and every encouraging word helps us care for our neighbors. We couldn't do this without you.

If you'd like to donate outside of our operating hours, I've got a solution...

You can leave quality new or gently used items in the back of my super-dope painted truck, and I'll make sure they get delivered to Project SALT.

Just shoot me a message, and I'll let you know where the truck is parked.

Thank you for continuing to love on this the way you do. Together we've helped thousands of people, and that's only possible because shows up again and again.

Much love, Gilly & the Project SALT crew ✌️🌈 ❤️

SUMMER HOURS UPDATE ☀️

Beginning immediately, Project SALT will be open:

📅 Monday, Wednesday & Friday
⏰ 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Like many nonprofits, we're feeling the effects of a volunteer shortage. In order to continue serving our community well and avoid volunteer burnout, we've had to adjust our summer hours.

The good news? This is also an opportunity.

Project SALT has never been about a building or a schedule—it's always been about people helping people. Every food box packed, every clothing item sorted, every family served happens because someone chose to give their time.

We're actively looking for dependable volunteers who can commit to a regular schedule. We aren't looking for someone to stop by for an hour once in a while (although we appreciate every helping hand). What we truly need are people who can consistently serve on the same day each week or even every other week. Consistency is key and helps us plan a set schedule.

A day can look like sorting through clothes, packing or dating food items, helping unload or load donations. We can try to find the perfect spot for you.

Maybe that's:
✅ Every Monday
✅ Every other Wednesday
✅ A consistent schedule that works for you and doesn't burn you out.

If you've ever thought, "I'd love to help," now is the time.

The need is growing, but so is the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life. Whether you're retired, work a flexible schedule, are a student, or simply have a heart to serve, we'd love to have you join the Project SALT family.

Interested in volunteering? Send us a message, stop by, or give us a call.

Together, we can continue making sure our neighbors have food, clothing, and hope.

❤️ Thank you for supporting Project SALT and the families we serve.
