Yesterday, I had the privilege of serving alongside my sisters of Theta Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated at our WE C.A.R.E. Community Resource Fair in Camden, NJ.

Serving our community isn’t something we talk about, it’s something we do. At Theta Pi Omega, showing up, connecting families to resources, and pouring into the communities we serve is part of who we are. This is what Leading with Love looks like.

As the Founder & CEO of Alwaze, I also understand the importance of community partnerships, access, and showing up for the people we serve. Strong communities are built when businesses, organizations, and leaders work together to create real impact.

Whew… this one brought me to tears. 🤍

There are moments in business that remind you it’s so much bigger than clothing.

This weekend, one of our Alwaze Brand Ambassadors, NaAsiaha Simon experienced something truly special, welcoming her mother, Endena Cheryl Humphrey into the sisterhood and creating a legacy moment that words can hardly capture.

A mother. A daughter. A legacy unfolding in real time.

Watching generations connect, celebrate, and create new traditions while wearing two different Alwaze Ceremonial Meeting Dresses reminded me exactly why we do this. Knowing this moment was even deeper, with mother and daughter now sharing the same sisterhood, chapter, and legacy, made it all the more meaningful.
