Hey everybody,
I’ve been putting this message off for a while because, honestly, I was really hoping things would turn around and that I’d be able to have a different outcome, but after looking at where things are right now with sales and everything else going on, I feel like the more responsible decision for me, my family, and my mental health is to close The Girl at the Rock Show for now.
As heartbreaking as that is, I can feel that it’s time.
Having a new baby has really changed my perspective and helped me realize where my priorities need to be right now. I want to be able to focus more of my time and energy on my family and on Puddle of Love.
I want to give The Girl at the Rock Show another chance someday just under better circumstances, with a proper location and the ability to build it the way I’ve always envisioned it.
I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I’ve met so many incredible people, made so many memories, and learned so much along the way. This little boutique became so much more than a store. In many ways, it was the beginning of Puddle of Love and the reason I found my way toward something even bigger.
So, this isn’t goodbye...
It’s simply the end of one chapter, not the end of the story for The Girl at the Rock Show. We’ll be back someday, and when we are, we’ll come back bigger, better, and stronger than before. 🖤
For now, my family and Puddle of Love are taking the forefront.
Starting now, everything in the store is 50% OFF through our final day, August 25th/26th. I’m going to do my best to move as much inventory as possible before we close, so come stock up, grab some amazing deals, and help me send this chapter off with some love.
Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. 🖤
So much love to every person who ever walked through those doors, bought something, shared a post, told a friend, came to an event, or simply believed in what I was trying to create.
This isn’t the end. It’s just a pause.
Love you all 🖤
