We have officially gone live with our new point-of-sale system!
To some, this may seem like a small feat, but for our business, it's a monumental milestone. We're transferring more than 20,000 products from one system to another, as well as other essential data, all while keeping business moving.
Our team is learning the new system in real time, working through the kinks, and finding our footing together. We're incredibly proud of everyone's patience, flexibility, and commitment throughout this transition.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has shown us patience and kindness during this very stressful transition. Your understanding means more to us than you know.
We are open seven days a week because we believe shopping local should be convenient and accessible for our community. If you're in a rush or having a difficult day, we kindly ask for your patience while we navigate this transition. You may experience a brief delay at checkout or in our warehouse loading zone as our team continues to learn the new system.
Most importantly, please remember that our employees are doing their very best. They are working hard to serve you while learning this new system, and they deserve the same kindness and respect they strive to show every customer.

What a crazy start to the day!
We happened to have a rep at the store meeting with some feed customers when the quake hit. Inside, I was walking between the store and warehouse while Danielle was prepping in our sweet shop.
When the shaking finally finished, Danielle and I quickly ran outside to check on our customers and then began assessing the damage. With broken glass, merchandise tossed everywhere, and no power, we decided the safest option was to keep the doors closed.
Jake and the crew worked hard to get the store back together throughout the day, and eventually the, power was restored around 7pm. We were able to run the generator and salvage some of our ice cream and frozen dog foods. Meanwhile, we lost nearly all of our perishable sweet shop ingredients, and because of this, the store will be open at 9am tomorrow, but our food service will not resume until Friday. We will continue serving ice cream, coffee, and candy.
We thank everyone who reached out, and we hope all of you are okay and got through it with little to no damage.
Today was a weird one, but we made it!. We look forward to seeing you when we reopen tomorrow.
