We are ready for you at the Central PA Fiber Festival. Lots of fiber goodies and other items. Teas, bonsai, pottery, jewelry etc. And demos….. sheep herding, sheep shearing, weaving, sock knitting etc. Stop by. We’re only 2ish hours from Lancaster.

Whooooooo…..we’ve been busy. And that’s good. We were still on the MDSW high. We got a lot accomplished. Trinity got a lot of picking done. Kim did a lot of carding and then got time on the spinner. Becky picked and carded as her happy usual self. I got wash prepping, dyeing and spinning done. Also working on memory bears and memory trees. I’m having a hard time finding a nice base for them. I’m looking for like a thick slab of tree. Not really wide but tall (thick) about 8” diameter. Anyway. The week flew by and I didn’t get a chance to post our fun. So here it is. We’ll be at Central PA Fiber Festival this weekend. Come on by.

What a week and weekend. It was amazing. A big thank you to everyone who supported our small business and all the small businesses at MD Sheep and Wool. I’m sitting here at the campground getting ready to depart for home. The girls went back last night. I like to savor the time. ( life is short) Anyway for me it’s such a high with such a wonderful fiber community that when I’m ready to depart for home the high has dropped and I feel a little melancholy. But I know there will be another festival and I will again be with this wonderful community. A big thank you to Kim and Becky for all their help.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Booth to visit (new friends and old friends), get your fiber goodies, and drop off fiber for processing. You are so appreciated and I am so thankful for your support of our small business. This year was another spectacular Festival (especially the weather) and I thank the Committee for ALL the work that goes into making this community so wonderful. This is my first year as a vendor but I’ve been coming for many years. (Definitely don’t want to give away my age LOL)

We are extremely excited to be a vendor and have a lot of amazing fiber for your delight. 2026 Festival exclusive roving, displays 2 paired colorways inspired by this years art by Andrea Wisnewski.
