Thank you Little Red Wagon Artisans for having me as a vendor! I love this show. This year I will donate 30% of my weekend takings to Operation Walk Syracuse for their 2025 mission to Ghana, West Africa. This is a charity that has great significance to me. My mother was crippled with arthritis and I was going that way. I am so grateful for regained mobility after bilateral total hip replacement performed by Dr. Kopko at Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists, P.C.. I want to give back a bit and help the young in Ghana. Do hope to see you at our show in Ithaca in under 2 weeks!

Helen Griffiths owns Fibers 'n' Creations a small functional fiber arts business using mostly local wool. Most of the wool she uses is from her own tiny fiber flock. Each item whether it be a wool gift card, or a rug is unique and is carefully crafted by Helen to give pleasure along with years of service to the owner.

Thank you to all the customers who came to my booth The 12th Annual Little York Fall Fiber Arts Festival. This was my first time as a vendor and it was a lot of fun to be with you. I appreciate all your purchases and donations for hurricane relief. I was able to donate a nice sum to World Central Kitchen. Very many thanks to all the organizers, (Michele and Kerby) and volunteers who did a great job with helping us. Hope to see you. In the meanwhile take care.

Hello fiber friends! I am looking for donations of wool skirtings, j***y fleeces, fleece you ruined (not dyed) by washing etc as part of a fund raiser. I am trying to get about 100 lb, think I have about fifty pounds of my own. So what am I doing with it? A farm near Hemlock, NY is 'joining the band wagon' and making wool fertilizer pellets from the j***y wool. They are coming to our area in October for pick up and will pay $1/lb. I am wanting to make a donation to the 100 percent volunteer program OperationWalkSyracuse https://www.facebook.com/OperationWalkSyracuse. It is run through Syracuse Orthopedic specialists. SOS takes a team of about forty-five medical trained people (surgeons, nurses, PT etc) to an under-served country to perform hip and knee replacement surgeries at no cost to the patients. They will be going to Ghana in the first quarter of this coming year, hence the need for funds! The surgeon who did my hip replacements will be going with them for the first time. I think this is their 4 or more visit there. With all that SOS surgeons and staff have done for me I am anxious to give back a little and LOVE this program! If you do have junk wool fleece-(nothing moth ridden, or wet please) and would like to donate I would be happy to get it. I have 3ply sport weight yarn custom spin for me by the amazing Blue Mountain Farm - Fiber Mill available from prize winning fleeces from my two Teewswater x Cotswold sheep Barnard and Bowes. It is on cones so I can provide whatever size hank you would like. The luster is very nice and 3 ply is hard to find and as knitters know gives better definition than a 2 ply. I am selling at $20 for 220 yds, similar price to a 2ply Teeswater yarn. Postage extra and ideally shipping within the USA. Please PM if interested. Thanks for your interest.

I would like to thank all the customers who bought from me Fibers n Creations at the Little Red wagon show at the beginning of December. I want to especially thank the people who bought the wool pins I made to sell (50%) for Ukraine refugees in Poland. I did end up sending 100% to them. Today I received this message, (please see below) which made me very happy. I wish I knew how to contact each of you to say "thank you".
