Being a small business warrior is not for the faint of heart. As an owner of 2 small businesses, my days are spent wearing all kinds of hats and juggling a million things at once. Often times, “small business” owners are also the sales reps, customer service reps, employees, accountants, marketing director, CEO, CFO, CIO, and the list goes on and on. It is HARD. But with every sale and every milestone achievement, you realize there’s no greater reward.

So 🥂cheers to all the men and women who are in charge of their own destiny. Who took their careers by the horns and created something all on their own. I tip my MANY hats to you!!!

KEEP GOING, KEEP DREAMING. Don’t give up. Don’t let yourself burn out. Don’t ever let anyone diminish your accomplishments.

This shirt fit Sotero perfectly! Not only is he a groom, he’s the barn’s biggest fan. There are several greys at the farm, including Megan Bash’s Grand Prix horse Jackson VDL! Every time Megan is at the ring, Sotero is there filming live on his Facebook, beaming with pride. This truly is a team sport, and often it takes a village. I’ve watched as Sotero watches all of his horses in the rings (and yes, I call them his horses because he loves and cares for them as if they were his own) and he lifts his leg with them as they fly over each jump as if he’s jumping it too 🥺

Don’t forget to acknowledge your barn staff. Show them some love, just as they show love to your horse!
