When I dreamed up Adabells over 5 years ago, I didn’t just pray for a successful business, I prayed for my girls.
I named this little boutique after them because I wanted them woven into every detail. Every late night, every package, every answered prayer, every victory, and even the hard days. I prayed they would love this little slice of heaven as much as I do. I prayed they’d watch their mama step out in faith and know that dreams are worth pursuing. And I prayed they’d always be proud to say, “That’s my Mama.”
Somewhere along the way, God answered every one of those prayers.
Now they’re the first ones to ask, “Did we get any orders today?” They get excited when they see familiar customer names pop up because they know your stories, and they get just as excited when they see a new name because it means someone new found Adabells. They love helping pack orders, share ideas, model clothes, help at every pop up, and celebrate every little win with me. They aren’t afraid to tell anyone and everyone about their mama’s boutique.
If there’s one thing I hope they’re learning from all of this, it isn’t how to run a business, it’s that this is community and God is always so faithful.
I hope they’re learning that they can do anything God calls them to do. That hard work matters. That it’s okay to start small. That faith often looks like taking the next step before you can see the whole path. And that some of God’s sweetest blessings come from simply saying “yes.”
Adabells has always been about so much more than clothes. It’s been four and a half years of watching God do what only He can do. Not just building a business, but building faith, community, confidence, courage, and memories with my girls that I pray they’ll carry long after this season of life.
If one day they look back and remember watching their mama trust God, work hard, love people well, and chase a dream He placed on her heart…then every single prayer was answered.
