Black History Month reminds us that fashion is more than style—it’s survival, resistance, and self-expression.

Black seamstresses and tailors passed down skills when they weren’t allowed ownership, built businesses when doors were closed, and created trends the world still follows today.

Such influence was shaped by designer Ann Lowe. She designed for the likes of Jacqueline Kennedy and the Rockefellers to name a few. Read more about her accomplishments in the link below.
