Trunk Sale Haul & Try-On time!
You ladies weren’t the only ones who shopped til you dropped at the big sale this past weekend. I got these adorable Free People Beach knit shorts from Britt’s rack (and a bunch of other things!) and couldn’t wait to get back in the store to wear them!

The weekend that was.
I said several years ago that I was done doing trunk sales. I announced it. I heard the protests. I refused to budge. I was done.
But then I realized it wasn’t about getting cute clothes for super cheap. It was about the community that was created during these events. I thought about how many people looked forward to them, planning trips to come back to the area around this weekend. It was the friendships made, the laughter, the sisterhood and all the other encouragement and vibes that unfolded before my eyes. It’s about the magic.
So, I still do them. It’s a huge undertaking that could not happen without the support and sweat equity of so many friends that help pull it together.
For EVERYONE I am so thankful. I’m always humbled by it all. This year was no exception.
I’m also pooped.
But still smiling from all the love I feel.

The last shopper left at 2:30. By 3:32, the place looked like this.
I truly have the absolute best team of helpers. My dream team, made of friends who’ve become family. No Trunk Sale would happen without them!
And a huge shout out to Madison of Images by Madison who graciously allows us to use her studio space to host theses events. She’s the best!
Thanks to all who came, shopped and hung out this year.
