Looking for a quilt with some great visual Interest?

We love the BQ5 Encore pattern from Maple Island Quilts. It works great for a fabric that you want to showcase and not cut up too much.

Our sample is a 12 block, but our kit is for a 20 block quilt with a border - a nice throw size that will add a pop of color to any room.😁

You've got plenty of time on a Sunday for the SW Section of the Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop! Time to enjoy the drive and spend time shopping at each shop. This route starts in Windom but drive time should be similar no matter which of the 4 shops you start at today. 🚗🚙🛻

So fun to see all the shop blocks in the Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop quilt! Can you spy the Prairie Quilting block? It's Sunday and we are open 12 - 5 pm today. It's a great day to grab a friend and finish or start your hop in the SW Section!

We know many of you have been asking… and yes, it arrived a little later than planned—but the 2026 Quilt Minnesota State Quilt is finally hanging and ready to be admired! 💙

This beautiful quilt represents the creativity and talent of our participating Quilt Minnesota shops and the amazing quilters who brought it all together as we celebrate 20 years of Quilt Minnesota.

If you’re hopping through the Metro Region, be sure to stop by Front Porch Quilt Shop in Anoka and see it in person. Pictures are beautiful… but seeing all of the stitching, piecing, and quilting up close is even better!

🥳 We could not be more excited to have our first Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop state finisher - yes, you heard that right a STATE finisher!!!🥳

This isn't a common occurrence for us at Prairie Quilting, Windom MN to have a state finisher - so it is a thrill on only Day 4 of Quilt MN to have a state finisher.
