** Public Acknowledgement **

At approximately 8:45p last night, someone broke into our car at our store. Luckily, two citizens that were familiar with our car and knew something was not right with the situation. The citizens sprung into action using all means to contact us to inform us of the situation.

They came to our home and notified us about the situation. Minutes after we arrived at the store, true enough we found an individual inside of our car. Things were destroyed and taken. The individual was given a citation instead of going to jail. The entire time the invidual was screaming and yelling things, such as "She was married to a black man before and she was from Montgomery, AL and she should have been asked to get out of the vehicle instead of being removed." No matter what you do in situations, the enemy will attack you at all angles. We feel hurt, betrayed, violated, but in this moment we still hold on to our faith and mission no matter what curveballs are thrown. We are here to help the community, not tear it down. We hope we receive the same treatment in return moving forward.

We want to thank the two individuals that are good citizens and know our mission. It feels good to be on the receiving end of help. We want to thank you because things could have been way worse.

We are proud military parents!!

I would like to take the time to deeply apologize, but Miracle on 3rd Thrift Store will be closed today as our son graduates training.

We will reopen tomorrow (5/3/24) at 10:00a.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone for the prayers, condolenses, sympathy, phone calls, messages and emails as another Angel has been called home. We deeply apologize about the delayed response to pick ups and messages. We will be working diligently this week to respond to each and every one.

We are so excited to be back in the store this week and look forward to seeing everyone's smiling faces ❤️
