“North Pole Co” paint inlay on a concrete pot I’ve had kicking around forever.

I used Paint Couture Paint’s dead flat as my inlay medium - worked like a charm, and then their light brown sugar glaze to age it a bit.

I’m not a traditional red&green Christmas person, but I like it a lot.

Kidding! (sorta) He’s my #1 cheerleader.

So - not sure what I’m gonna do with these - I surely don’t want to lose that crackle. I’d like to add some color but have to do some research. I’ve knocked all the loose stuff off and I’ll sand the tops as they’re a little •too• vintage and sealed them with two coats of matte sealer

Any ideas? I’m thinkin’ candle pillars and I really like this shelf idea.

The Silver Nutmeg’s creative workshops resume in September!

First up - one of my favorites from the IOD - Iron Orchid Designs Winter 2026 release - “Bramblewood Diaries”!

It features the months of the year surrounded by a beautiful wreath of florals and tiny woodland animals appropriate to the time of year.

You’ll use the month of your choice along with the “Conservatory Labels”mould, stamps, paints, antiquing waxes and our new wood block stand and see what a beautiful piece you can create

Class is limited to 8 creators. Once you register (click on the photo below), please DM me with your choice of month so I can be sure to have enough on hand)

Ribbon hanger - I chose a cognac/bronze color that ended up working perfectly with the stag’s pelt. I wanted more of an autumnal vibe vs Christmas
