Visual Index VISUAL INDEX is an independent art gallery celebrating makers from all 50 states.

Founded in 2017 Visual Index is a woman owned independent art gallery located in the downtown arts district of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We carry art from all 50 states while maintaining an emphasis on North Carolina art. We feature contemporary craft and fine art with mediums spanning clay, jewelry, fiber, wood, glass, 2D works, and more.

Please join us in welcoming RAGS AF from Louisiana to Visual Index!

Created by artist and designer Raeleigh, RAGS AF is a wonderfully weird world filled with quirky creatures, playful doodles, colorful stickers, washi tape, zines, and unexpected bits of joy. A fine arts graduate with a background in graphic design, Raeleigh creates work that embraces curiosity, humor, and the delightfully absurd.

One of our favorite things about RAGS AF is that you never quite know what you’ll discover next. Possum wizards, funky frogs, lambs, horses, bugs, fish, and all sorts of charming characters find their way into her work. It’s imaginative, fun, and guaranteed to add personality wherever it lands.

At Visual Index, we’re proud to connect you with independent artists who make the world a little more interesting, and RAGS AF does exactly that.
