The design that started it all, the official MS Mama Graduation Fundraiser shirt.
As some of you may already know the catalyst for starting this little Tshirt biz was my sons upcoming college graduation. He's a senior at Norwich University in Vermont persuing a degree in construction management. He is also a stellar member of the drill team and this year he was promoted to commander over the entire drill company. He makes good grades and I am obviously so very proud of him.
Being able to attend his graduation in April is a top priority for me but I have a problem...I'm disabled due to having Multiple Sclerosis and have been unable to keep any kind of consistent employment for the better part of the past 8yrs. Needless to say my financial situation is bleak. I thank God for my family that have kept a roof over my head and the friends who offer moral support, I truly don't know where I'd be without them.
Graduation is in Vermont and I live in Florida. The cost of getting there and then staying in a hotel for a couple of days is more then I could ever afford but I'm trying to accomplish this goal by designing the fun shirts you see on this page. I may not be able to function in a traditional work setting but one thing I still have is creativity so I figured why not put it to use and see what happens.
God may have allowed MS to take a lot from me but He also has blessed me with so much and I know He is able to see me through this. I hope this doesn't come off as pitifully. I don't want pity at all, I just wanted to tell my reason for what I'm doing and what my goals are so if you order a shirt you can know how greatly appreciative I am and that your purchase is meaningful ♥ Many have asked why I just don't start a GoFundMe and ask for money. It's just not my style, I would rather earn my bread if I can. But if anyone would like to make a donation to my goal I wouldn't oppose it lol.
