Have you heard?! Our sign is back in it's original home! 👑

King's Clothing occupied our building from 1909-1999 and sold clothing to all the folks in our town - often on credit! Sorry, we can't "charge it to your tab" like they did then, but there are definitely folks that try. 😆

We've been BUSY stocking up after Covered Bridge Festival. Some of our favorites:

Jane has brought in some amazing vintage and antique furniture finds along with lots more! This cupboard has the sweetest details and hardware.

Jen found even more vintage silk scarves since you've been loving them. Have you seen the style inspo in our stories?

Search "ways to tie a silk scarf" and find so many possibilities! Plus these are perfectly lightweight to wear in the fall. 🍁

Cheryl brought in this fantastic green handmade sweater, bright pink speckled tray and more. 🩷

Did you hear? 🦇 Vintage Art Nite is upon us! Visit White Cottage Market on ✨️THURSDAY, OCT 22 • 6-8PM✨️ for vintage art nite.

Pay $10 and use any of our vintage papers, old books, music pages, wallpaper samples.. etc, etc, etc to make anything you want!

Come work on your own project OR come for our themed craft. This month - spooky photo additions! 🦇

We usually do this every THIRD THURSDAY, so keep that on your calendar for next month.

It definitely feels like fall in Winterset today and we've got some great fall decor finds in the shop. 🍂

Our favorite is this little wash stand that Jane just brought in with the brass bat-wing drawer pulls. And the orange painted drawers. 🧡🦇

The "gals" are recovered from the big weekend and found new cute vintage outfits to wear! 👗 As for Jane and Jen - were still working on it. 😆

Thank you all for such a great 2026 Covered Bridge Festival! 🧡 We've finally got the shop (mostly) reset and refilled.

Extra big thanks to all of our helpers and fellow shop owners this weekend as it truly takes a village.

The weather was perfect, if a little warm. ☀️ We loved seeing everyone out and about and enjoying our little town.

We sold TONS of furniture, so we've added a few "new" pieces this week. Along with lots of small treasures, some fresh clothing, and even the sweetest grandmother clock! 🕰

We still have a few vintage covered bridge finds, and a few of these vintage framed covered bridge illustrations. Jen just found a whole stack of vintage Ralph Lauren wallpaper - We're thinking a framing party in November. Pick your vintage covered bridge illustration and pick your vintage wallpaper background. Stay tuned for info!
