A project comes full circle *all these years later* 🧵🪡

This is quite literally one of the best parts of what we do - seeing a quilt that was lovingly started nearly 100 years ago get that same love all these years later.

We pick lots of items for the store that we still think have some stories to tell. This quilt hasn't yet finished it's story - and now it has a new one. 💖

Two gals came into the shop this week. They saw this stack of quilt blocks and we got a kick out of laying them out on the counter for her to decide which ones she wanted. It turns out, that's a hard choice - and we made a deal on all of them.

Yesterday she came back into the shop with the quilt blocks tucked neatly into a fresh new project bin with some fresh fabric picked out to make an entire quilt. She had taken pictures of the quilt blocks and had Ai arrange them for her in a pattern where they wouldn't repeat.

It *made my day*! We love when you share your excitement for your finds, because we were once just as excited to find them and had hopes that someone would see the vision.

Thanks all for sharing your finds and stories with us! This one was so special.

Fall is hitting the shop, and Jane recently came across some incredible handmade baskets, made of all sorts of materials. 🍁🍂

Fresh furniture at The Cottage this week! 🤎 Jane freshened up and brought in this secretary desk, and we've been filling in with some vintage fall finds. 🍁

We've got some really nicely made fall vibe crocheted blankets and lots of great "new" artwork. The large piece on top of the secretary is framed fabric!

The show is September 19th and so many shops are participating! Whether they're in the show or not, so many shops in town will be offering day-of specials. Plan to come shop!

⭐️Did you know?⭐️ Good vintage clothing can actually be pretty elusive? Where many shops can go to Market and stock up, we often have to find *good* vintage piece by piece, like a needle in a haystack.

Jen recently hit the vintage jackpot after taking a chance on a shipment. Y'all - its GOOD!

Our models will be picking out outfits in the next week or so, and then maybe we'll do a live trunk show of what's coming - stay tuned to our stories for the latest and we'll show you sneak peeks as we go.
