I've been lucky enough to host TWO cooking demonstrations already this season at the Melrose Farmers Market. For the first demo, I toasted fresh pieces of baguette in some Lifehaus Garlic & Chive oil and topped it with roasted red pepper, arugula and a splash of Lifehaus Lemon & Basil oil for a finish. I also made appetizer size Caprese Bites with tomato, mozzarella, basil and finished it with Lifehaus Sundried Tomato & Thyme Oil.
For the second cooking demo, I made a Mediterranean inspired pasta salad and sauteed cherry tomato's and spinach in Lifehaus Garlic & Chive Oil. I then mixed the vegetables in with pasta that was boiled in our Rosemary Infused Oil and topped with feta cheese.
Everyone's reaction was WOW! Our oils add that little extra flavor to any dish whether you're sauteeing vegetables, making sauces, or cooking a piece of meat.
