Friday and Saturday 10am-6pm
Sunday 12-6pm
4 different sizes of makeup bags, lanyards, scrunchie lanyards, corner bookmarks, rice bags, quilts, chapstick holders, pen notebook holder….so much cute stuff!!!

The list of Veterans in our area that need Quilts of Valor keeps growing. Thank you to the ladies that keep showing up and to everyone behind the scenes for helping. If you would like to donate your time to help us sew we meet every second Friday of the month from 9 AM to 3 PM at Prairie Grove Baptist Church in Talihina.  if you have any questions you can reach out to me, Nona, Humphries, or any of us Queens if you have any questions.
I didn’t get to stay all day, but my favorite part by far was seeing what everybody brought in their sack lunch!!!

It’s called use what you got so you don’t have to buy anything!!! I finally made myself a bigger design wall because I do bigger quilts now!!! I love it!!!

My sewing room is also my office, it holds craft supplies, books, games, etc. I finally found a way for it all to work. It may still look messy to you but to me all the things I love and make me happy are on my walls, all my fabric, backing fabric, fat quarters, strips and charm packs are labeled. Everything has a home now and I can finally breathe!! Only thing left to do is make my quilt wall bigger!! I’m ready to start sewing again!!!

Small group yesterday but that didn’t stop the fun!! Tina made her “homemade” salsa, we met a new friend, I continue to be fascinated by Beverly, Linda told us a story about a dinosaur, Big Foot covered a rip in a pair of pants, Tina gave us butterflies, Melanie brought some yummy fruit and I’m so lucky to be part of a great group of talented ladies!!

You missed a great QOV (Quilt Of Valor) sewing day!! The food was amazing, Nona gave us homemade jelly, we had a special guest Miss. Elaine Nelson, question and answers with Beverly, and we also got some sewing done!! Join us tomorrow from 9-4 for our monthly Sew Day!!! Tina is making fresh salsa. FYI bring a fan if you get hot!!
