On July 25th, 2024, officers with the Orlando Police Department were called to a hotel in response to a suspected residential burglary. Upon arrival, the officer observed a man, later identified as Michael Brannum, attempting to flee the scene on foot. Lt. Hall witnessed Brannum commit a pedestrian violation across American Way before running behind the Super 8 Motel, where he was briefly lost from sight. Brannum was then seen hopping multiple fences and running through the parking lot of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. Despite repeated commands to stop, he continued fleeing. He did Throw Something, infact Multiple things, as Officers will discover that in the pool area he threw a plastic bag with a green leafy substance, at the top of the staircase he attempted to hide a plastic baggy containing OXY**DONE and an assortment of colored pills with a monkey face logo on the front and back that will later test positive for M D * A, He also Tried to shove a baggie of Coc***ne in-between the door and the seal that weighed out to one gram. after being medically cleared, he was transported to the orange county jail where he was charged with Resisting Officer Without Violence, Tampering With Physical Evidence, Possession of Co***ne, Possession of Oxyc**one, Possession of Can**bis, Possession of E**tasy and Trafficking in Me*ha****tamines. The case ended up being closed after it was determined it was not suitable for prosecution. This was most likely due to the fact the suspect did not have the Narcotics in his possession at the time of the arrest and they could not prove that they were his. if you enjoy the content we produce, please don’t forget to like comment and subscribe!
