Crowd sourcing! I would love to continue teaching kids classes but trying to find a location. It could be anywhere between Woodland, Davis, Vacaville, Fairfield. Shoot me your ideas and I’ll check them out!

Good Morning Stitchy Friends!

Just a quick update on the alterations/custom sewing front and to provide some clarity for some FQA that I've been getting:

LOCATION:
I am based in Woodland. I am happy to come to you or have you come to my home for in-town alterations or if you want to travel to me. I am generally available to meet as far West as Vacaville and as far East as Natomas/Downtown Sacramento so if you live within reach of those places I am happy to work for you!

TURN AROUND TIME:
My standard turn around time is 2 weeks. Please bear in mind this is not uncommon and your job is not the only one in the lineup :) Work needed within a week or less will incur a rush fee of at least 25% possibly more depending on the timeframe.

TEACHING:
TBD - I am in the process of finding a new place to teach from and should have an udpate about that by the weekend. I will continue to offer private lessons in your home, potentially mine if you are local to Woodland/Davis or want to travel to me.

Hello Stitchy friends -

It is with a lot of sadness that I am writing to let you know I am closing the studio at the end of the month. I will continue to do alterations and custom work. This will mostly be serving Sacramento to Fairfield.

Please do not be alarmed by this message if you currently have a lesson or class or job scheduled with me, I have reached out to everyone so please look for an email. All jobs currently in the queue will be completed and I will arrange pick up with you individually.

I will continue to do private lessons, but they will be in-home. I am also available for group lessons but a location will have to be arranged. I am working out teaching from another location so I will likely be having my other classes in the future as well.

I appreciate all the support and love and will continue to need it!!

Recent alteration: replace a zipper in a leather jacket. Other than standard hems, alterations are all very different. Luckily the experience, knowledge and correct equipment make it straightforward for me!

Such a fun day in the studio Monday! Littles Stitchers (5-7) making their first ever pillow and bigger kids making magical unicorn pillows! Your kiddos can learn to sew here at Stitches 🥰
