I was digging around in my garage yesterday looking for a box to ship something and I found the FIRST BAG I EVER MADE! I look at it and I see all the things wrong with it, but I can’t bring myself to dismantle it for hardware and leather... it definitely has sentimental value 😂 Anyway, it’s SB Foot Copper Rough and Tough leather (what many Red Wing Boots are made of) with solid brass hardware

Here’s an experiment for me. This is the first bag that I’ve made with a full lining (other than a few Dopp kits). This one is lined with sheepskin, so the inside has a more finished look and feel. There’s also a fun Pendleton wool inlay. It’s Wickett & Craig harness in buck brown and olive with sheepskin lining. This will be available soon at @ Chaffinville Co-Op

I made a couple of bicycle bags over the weekend. I’ll make a more detailed post for each. I’m also working on adapting the star pattern into a full-size pannier, just need to study some racks to work out the mounting straps. The star bag is Wickett & Craig harness, the round bag is Wickett & Craig bridle.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out :) Need the neck gaiter to fit the beard inside 😂

I did a little retrofit on my aviator helmet (aka my son’s favorite thing to wear around the house...) to add removable goggles and a mask. Really takes it up a notch, I think. Made from Thoroughbred Leather’s walnut Bridle, a little Wickett & Craig tan Bridle, and some plumbing supplies.
