Well, I'm back.

I took some time away from social media, and honestly, it was needed. Between making, working on the website, and getting some things set up behind the scenes, it felt good to step away and focus on the parts of the business I enjoy most.

Over the past few weeks, I've been making some updates to J.Huber Leather Designs, including improvements to the website and setting up some new email features to make it easier to stay connected.

I'm also excited about something new—a monthly giveaway for my email subscribers. Each month, one subscriber will receive a handcrafted surprise, like a tooled keychain, a pair of earrings, or a purse charm. Just a small way to say thank you to those who follow along and support this little business.

As I come back, I'm giving myself permission to do things a little differently. Less pressure, less chasing social media, and more sharing the things I genuinely love—creating beautiful leather goods, the process behind them, and the everyday moments that inspire them.

Thank you for being here, whether you've been following for years or just recently found J.Huber Leather Designs. I appreciate every like, comment, order, and kind message more than you know.

Clair Kehrberg ~ Fine Leather Art’s leather workshop is coming up June 18–19 at the Collective here in Virginia City, and if you’ve been wanting to learn from a leather artisan who knows how to make leather tell a story, this is your sign.

She’ll be teaching hands-on leather techniques (including tooling, stamping, and painting skills) during the workshop, and then Friday evening after class, we’re opening the doors for an artist meet & greet and crafting evening.

Come meet Clair, hang out with other makers, make something with your hands, and enjoy snacks and refreshments with us.

Registration is also required for Friday evening so we can plan enough supplies, snacks, and refreshments.

Then Saturday, June 20, we’re keeping the party going with our Summer Kickoff with raffles, artist demonstrations, shop specials, featured makers, and more happening throughout the day.

So basically… come for the leather, stay for the art, snacks, raffles, and western maker magic.

June 18–19: Clair’s Leather Workshop
