Here we go again. Museveni announces Uganda ban goes into effect September 1.

Ugandan journalist Hilary Ayesiga says Uganda doesn’t currently have the capacity to replace the soon to be banned used clothing imports. 67% of East Africans buy some of their clothing from used clothing markets. Ayesiga also says Ugandans cannot afford new clothing produced locally and the ban will result in more new clothing being imported from Asia.
