Thankful to be spending this with this handsome man doing what we love for (unless God tells us otherwise) the last time...

We started this business out of financial desperation. A Teacher and a Juvenile Court Counselor by trade we were struggling and needing a side gig to help bring in some extra income.
Our "first" product was an old to***co burner that Dave restored and repurposed into a bench and right there and then Sunflower Salvage, "Rescued, Restored, and Adored" was born.

10 years later and God not only used this business to provide us the financial means we needed then, but he also used it to reveal to us the areas in our marriage that needed rescuing and restoring that we didn't even know we needed. It has been the most beautiful, hard, and transformative journey that has not only drawn us closer to each other, but has more importantly, drawn us closer to God.

We may not know what direction God is leading us to take Sunflower Salvage next but today you'll find us at the Christmas Bazaar .odac in the conference room from 8-4. We couldn't be happier with the way these custom walnut end tables came out!

A customer reached out to us a few months ago and asked if we would help them transform some walnut slabs they had been holding onto into pieces of furniture for their home.

Dave gave it a go in the workshop, and I think he knocked it out of the park!

These pieces showcase the natural beauty of walnut wood, renowned for its rich, warm tones and intricate grain patterns. Each table is a one-of-a-kind creation, as the unique characteristics of walnut ensure that no two pieces are ever the same.

Sirius Black loves his new custom designed Dog Kennel created to give his Momma both peace of mind and extra counter space in her kitchen!

Our friends .alec and came to us with this design they saw on Wayfair and asked if we could make it happen. They not only wanted a safe space for their new puppy to grow into, but a piece of furniture that could add to their home.

Instead of getting a collection of manufactured particle board, we were able to create for them a one of a kind piece that tells a story using an old door for the back and repurposed church pews for the top.

This is the second piece of furniture they've commissioned us for and we are so thankful for their continued support of our small business!
