🧡 BRADLEY UPDATE 🧡
On Sunday, Bradley had an accident at school. We think he was dehydrated after he threw up 3x on Saturday. Bradley has low blood pressure and when he got up Sat am to use the bathroom he passed out and face planted on the bathroom floor. He got 8 external stitches and 2 internal stitches on his chin. We took him to an oral surgeon and he has 7 broken teeth. He’s going to remove them on Wednesday. We have to wait 3 months then he’s going to have dental implants put it. We also took him to an ENT because his ears were bleeding. Fortunately, this was because of the metal piece on his hearing aids that punctured his skin inside each ear on impact. This was a relief because his ears kept bleeding and we couldn’t figure out why. We were worried there was internal bleeding even though the CT scan showed no skull fracture.
He’s been really sweet and has had a very funny - No Worries - attitude about all of this. He said, “I can’t eat. My teeth are broken, I want to take them out” as he proceeds to pull out one of the broken teeth then said SEE?! We said the dentist is going to take them out on Wednesday. He said “All of them? I won’t have any teeth left”. After he thought about it a few minutes he says, “I don’t want to go back to school with no teeth. People will laugh at me and say, Bradley, what happened to all your teeth!” 🥹
Today has been very hard on him and he’s in quite a bit of pain. The next 3 months are going to be challenging for him because he has been very fixated on his teeth. We know it could’ve been way worse, so we are very thankful! Please send good vibes and prayers his way 🙏🏼 Thank you to everyone who has called and texted - we have an incredible village!
If you want to send an uplifting video to him, he would LOVE to watch it! Feel free to send a message on here or text it to me 🧡 My # is 423-429-1923
