Opening a store was scary. And if I’m being completely truthful, some days it still is.

There was the fear that no one would come in.
The fear that people wouldn’t understand my vision.
The fear of spending money and wondering if I’d ever make it back. The fear of putting myself out there and having people judge it. The fear of failing.

But I’ve realized something… fear will talk you out of some of the best things in your life if you let it.

The Pit Stop started as an idea in my head, and now I get to walk through those doors and see something I actually created. Is it perfect? Nope. Am I still figuring things out every single week? Absolutely.

But I did it scared.

Because failing after trying would never bother me as much as wondering what could have happened if I had been brave enough to try.

So here’s to doing the things that scare us. To taking the chance. To betting on ourselves.

Because fear is losing before you even give yourself the chance to win. 🤎

If you’ve stopped by The Pit Stop, chances are you’ve seen Roxy behind the register! We thought it was time you got to know her a little better. 🤎

🌵 Desert girl: She’s lived in the desert her whole life.

🥎 When she’s not working: You can usually find her playing softball.

🛍️ Favorite part of The Pit Stop: Meeting all of our customers and seeing all the new goodies that come through the door.

💍 Favorite things in the shop: Jewelry & candles!

🎬 Something you might not know: She LOVES scary movies… but seafood? Absolutely not. 😂
