🌻 REAL, RAW and longish post 🌻
The last few months, many of you have noticed that my store hours have been a little inconsistent, and I feel like I owe you an honest explanation.
The truth is, over the last couple of years I've realized something that has completely changed my perspective: life is just too short.
As a small business owner, I know I need to be open consistently to keep this business going. I understand that, and I don't take it lightly. But I've also realized how many memories I've missed over the years. I've missed time with family, celebrations, simple moments, and opportunities that I'll never get back. When I really stopped and thought about that, it made me sad.
So this summer, I made a different choice.
I chose to say "yes" to making memories. I chose to spend time with the people I love. I chose to trust God that He will provide and that everything will work out the way it's meant to.
Running a small business is one of the greatest blessings of my life, but it isn't my whole life. Someone recently told me something that really stuck with me: "You can't let your business run your one and only life." Those words hit home.
To every single one of you who has continued to support me, shown me grace, and loved my little business through it all—thank you. Your kindness means more than you'll ever know. Because of you, I'm able to do what I love while also choosing to live a life I'm proud of.
I'm still here. I'm still pouring my heart into this business. I'm just also making room for the people and moments that matter most.
I hope you understand, and more than that, I hope each of you gives yourself permission to slow down sometimes, make the memories, take the trip, hug your people a little tighter, and truly enjoy this one beautiful life we've been given.
Thank you for sticking with me. Thank you for believing in me. And thank you for reminding me every day why this little business is so special.
Big smiles and hugs -Megan ❤️
