The process of making one of my bags has many steps.

It will start in my brain, of course, but then, I have to pass that information to my computer using a program for graphic designers called Illustrator. This is where the magic happens! I take pictures, I look in internet for references, fonts, I do list of objects or words that are related to the bag I want to design.

When all of that is done and the design is ready, I do a test of colors with my sublimation printer, then in the heat press on the fabric until I get the desired color.

Meanwhile, I work on which font I will cut the gold foil with my Cricut machine, and decide the size accordingly for the space available. I will lay out multiple words, cut them, remove the parts of the foil that are outside of the words, and then cut each word.

After I have done that step, I will take the design printed on the sublimation paper, and make a first pass with the heat press on the fabric, then a second press with the word cut in foil, lastly I will cut the fabric with the heat knife to have ready for sewing.

In addition to all of that, I like to add an extra personal touch with glitter fabric paints by hand to make it more unique and cute.

When all of that is dry and ready, I have to cut the lining, the interfacing, the outside of the bag, and have the zipper ready to manufacture the bag.

I know, It is a lot of work! But I do love every step of it, it is so much fun, it is my passion!
