Q'S
Can we ship outside of Viet Nam? Yes, we can, unfortunately, it's notoriously expensive, however, the prices of actual items are far more reasonable here so it might work out ok. Get in touch if you fall in love with something and we will check out the pricing for you! Are our items vegan friendly? We are all vegans here :)
The only exception to this is that we occasionally use silk for eco printing, the silk we source is always second hand, we would never use or buy new silk as the process is neither ethical nor vegan. There may also be leather patches on any upcycled denim items, but we will always declare this in the description and would be happy to remove the patches at your request. What dyes do you use? Natural indigo, yam root, various other plant, veggies and flowers, plus antibacterial, sulphite free locally sourced fibre reactive dye. Are your dyes colourfast? We use various different techniques to fix the dye. Are your dyes safe for the environment? We have a filter system installed to ensure any wastewater is cleaned before entering the drainage system. What materials do you use? Typically cellulose (natural plant-based) fibres - so cotton, linen, h**p. Our materials are locally sourced, and as much as possible organic. We do occasionally upcycle some protein (animal) fibres, such as silk or wool for eco-printing, but we would only ever use second-hand textiles. What does upcycled mean? It means we have taken something that had a flaw, the most common flaws we upcycle are items of clothing with superficial defects, marks etc. on them - but it could be a missing button or a hole that needs fixing, and we improve it, we make it better than it was. How can I learn to do this? Come to our studio and dye with us :) We have workshops coming after Tet, want to sign up? DM us and we'll add you to our contact list for when we start the classes. Are you available for workshops at educational establishments? Absolutely, and we can tailor the workshops to suit your requirements, student ages, curriculum or special events. We ran a brilliant 5-hour workshop at the Renaissance school which was loads of fun :)
Do you work with charities/not for profits? We do. Please reach out and we can discuss ideas.
