This 4 hour course for a complete beginner can be customised to make a product of your choice

This course covers:
1. An introduction to setting up and using the sewing machine
2. An introduction to using paper patterns to make a dress for a toddler / or alternative simple product of your choice
3. Cutting skills and transferring pattern markings using tailor's tacks. Advice on hand sewing skills as necessary.
4. An introduction to assembling the garment , stay stitching, sewing and pressing seams, folding a hem.

The course can be extended to cover;

5. Cutting and attaching bias binding or creating a facing
7. Making and attaching puff aleeves using elastic and machine gathering.
