Have you wondered what's the best size of needle to use on a project? We can help with our Needles Guide that is free for you to download.

It's a true scale size guide, so all needles pictured are at actual size when printed to A4. Making this a fantastic tool for sewing needle selection and identification.

Your guide to sewing needle types also has a needle dimension chart that lists the length and diameter of all sewing needles.

For embroidery, it's important to have a needle eye that is slightly bigger than the thread / floss you're planning to use. The needle creates a hole in the fabric that allows the thread to pass through easily. This also reduces the wear on the thread and makes it easier to embroider.

The great Christmas Sewing Machine Heist. Theft from Linda's Quilt Shoppe in Kelowna. How awful for this small business right before Christmas. Don't get caught buying hot sewing machines!

More than a dozen high-end sewing machines, ranging in price from $6,000 to $25,000, were stolen during a break and enter at a Kelowna, B.C., business in the early hours of Monday morning.
