If you've ever stood in front of your closet or mirror thinking, "What necklace even goes with *this* neckline?"... you're not alone. 🎯
Here are the 3 necklines I see most often and the ONE necklace style that makes each one shine:
**1️⃣ The Crew Neck **
Personally, I think this one is the hardest!
This neckline already frames your collarbone beautifully. You want a necklace that doesn't fight it go *shorter* (16–18 inches) or *longer* (24+ inches, hitting past your collarbone). This forged statement necklace is slightly longer than the neckline. Avoid anything that sits right at the collarbone as it creates visual clutter.
**2️⃣ The V-Neck**
A V-neck is an invitation for a longer pendant or layered piece. The necklace should *follow* the neckline down — think 18–24 inches. This combination necklace creates balance and elongates your frame. This is where statement pieces *sing*.
**3️⃣ The Scoop **
Scoop necklines give you *room to play*. You can go chunky, you can go delicate, you can layer. The key? Keep your necklace in the same visual "weight" as your neckline. A wide, open neckline can handle a bolder piece — don't be shy with it.
**The Real Magic?**
Choosing a necklace that works with your neckline (instead of against it) is the difference between feeling *blah* and feeling like *you* again.
The next time you get dressed, notice which necklines make you feel most confident. That's your clue. 💛
