Hello friends! If you are in the Mohawk Trail School District, an invitation to join us tomorrow evening (February 25th @ 6:30PM) at the Buckland Shelburne Elementary School for a community meeting. 

The folks on the 2districts8towns Steering Committee have done a phenomenal job gathering information, feedback, and data, and are now bringing it back to the community for feedback and to discuss what next steps could be.

Leading our children by example to value our resources, to use and reuse and rework what we are grateful to have. Making imperfect stitches and delighting in their purposefulness, trying new things and letting the inspiration (and frustration, and learnings) come through 🙏⁣

*An update! Because of the weather/storms, registration for Hill Institute classes will begin at 7am, instead of 8:30, and will continue through 10:30am. ⁣
⁣
This fall, I’ll be teaching 3 classes at Hill: a Beginning Sewing + Beyond class, where we’ll make the top pictured here, or one of the many variations! A Make + Mend class, where we’ll take pre-loved goods, and fix them, or fashion them into new usable goods (Thursday classes). And a training workshop, to learn how to sew on a Juki industrial machine (Friday workshops) 😁⁣

Classes fill up early, so get to registration early, reach out with questions!

Been working on many things including clothing samples and doll houses 😍, an odd sail repair here + there, and Bridge of Flower-ing whilst erranding around town! Get on that bridge if you can, it’s glorious! ⁣
