Incremental improvements look... Just the same as before. But it's totally better.

But i had the most random and typical dragon con experience of late night Marriott Atrium level wandering at where i was talking to my buddy Sean Bradley and he spots someone and goes, "oh i have to introduce you to my friend Jenn." And i got introduced to Jenn, who worked on a bunch of the recent Star Wars shows and Mandalorian and Grogu. In this random late night meeting i got confirmation of how some of the webbing is layered on the belt construction.

So I did a build with the webbing that holds the belt buckles done the way it was done for the movie. The belt and crash webbing looks the same as before, but the backside is now more screen accurate on my replica.

Walking back into my shop after getting back from Dragon Con be like.

The fabric scraps, the pattern pieces, the rolls of velcro, glue containers, mockups, it's a disaster.

We will rebuild. And by rebuild I mean clean up and get back to my regularly scheduled sewing and making.

It's fun to make custom requests- this was a "Lonewolf Special" crash webbing, but with the extra long yellow pull tags, a staple requirement for making sure you're safe while riding in Hyperspace aboard a Starspeeder 3000 or grabbing some coaxium with the Millennium Falcon.
