Hopefully all of you will see this post, unfortunately I already know that not all will…. I am just being open and honest.
I have made the decision to take a much needed break from having an online business. I appreciate all of you who have supported over the years. You made it possible for me to follow a dream. ❤️
Maybe when Ella is older she will have an interest and we can open up a shop here and we can do it together🥰
Running a small business is very difficult and I have found that while having a child and trying to run a business it does not mix well for me. This week I put my mindset that I was closing and Ella and I have had the best week! I found that when I would be trying to work on the website is when she would be at her worst and I now know she wanted my attention, of course. Yes she will get older and better about it, but for me this time is precious.
I am tired of feeling like I am just here to sell something. I am tired of competing. I am tired of the stress it brings. The world the way it is makes it difficult for extra spending and I get it 1000%. I myself can’t spend extra so I don’t expect you to. Social media is also very discouraging. For me at this point in my life it is no longer “worth it”.
These moments like in this picture are what is important. I had reopened Rustik Wyoming after only 3 weeks of having Ella. Started working on reopening it after only one week🙄 My body definitely told me I shouldn’t have done that, but no one knew that. No one saw the struggles behind the pretty shop and the smile on my face… I had to hire help for watching my daughter and I lost many hours of sweet time with Ella as a baby😔 Following this dream is no longer bringing me joy.
Having the online shop definitely has been “easier”, but it still puts a strain on…
Again, thank you to those of you who actually have supported me and my business. I will not delete this page as I hope you will take the time to go back to the beginning and see the journey. I myself love doing that. It’s a reminder of where I’ve been❤️
