This is my beautiful bride, Ssiima 🤍🇺🇬

This story sat with me for so long because I kept asking myself… how do I even tell this story properly?

Because this was never just about a dress.

This was about culture. Identity. Storytelling. Intention. And honestly… God.

One thing I absolutely loved about Ssiima was how intentional she was from the very beginning. She wanted a gown that felt modern, but still told the story of where she comes from. She wanted someone from Uganda to look at her dress and immediately understand the message.

And that is exactly what made this journey so special.

Every single detail had purpose.

From the waistline draping, the wrap-around elements, the tassel detailing, the beadwork… all inspired by the Gomesi. Even the fabric itself was authentic original Ugandan fabric, personally brought by her mum to South Africa.

This wasn’t about making a beautiful dress.

This was about honouring culture through couture.

I found myself learning more deeply about Ugandan culture because I wanted to respect every detail properly. And the more I understood the vision, the more emotional this journey became for me.

There are moments in this journey that remind me that this is so much bigger than just making dresses…

Four years ago, Zizo walked into my space as a young Grade 9 girl, accompanying her sister Zethu, whose dress went viral. I didn’t know it then, but that moment was the beginning of something so special. A relationship that would grow into family.

From that day, we stayed connected. Watching her grow, seeing her come into her own… and last year, while I was creating a piece for her mom, she said something that touched me deeply — “Pru, I want you to make my matric dance dress.”

And just like that, a conversation we had four years ago came full circle.

I remember telling her back then… “By the time I make your dress, my craft will be even better.”
And standing here today, looking at this piece… I see growth. I see evolution. I see answered prayers.

This dress was never just a dress.

Every fabric was intentionally sourced — even beyond our borders.
Hundreds and thousands of crystals, carefully selected.
Hand-beaded from beginning to end.
Every detail placed with purpose, with love, with vision.

I poured so much of myself into this piece. I sat with it. I thought through every inch of it. I wanted it to be more than beautiful — I wanted it to feel like Zizo, to tell her story.

And I’ll never forget what her dad said on the day…
“It looks like real gold.”

That moment… stayed with me.

Because this is what I always say — I’m not just building a business, I’m building relationships.
Being in that room, sharing such a special moment with this family… I didn’t feel like a designer. I felt like I belonged. I felt like family.

And that, to me, is everything.

Zizo, Zethu, and to your beautiful family — thank you.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for allowing me into such a meaningful chapter of your lives.

My heart is so full. Truly.

This piece will forever hold a special place in my journey… 🤍

This journey started with an online consultation 🤍
A call filled with laughter, warmth, and intention — Lwazi and her mom.
We spoke about dreams, vision, and how she wanted to feel on her special night.

Her mom shared that she’s based in Cape Town and simply said, “I would love this dress for my daughter.”
The conversation was beautiful. Effortless. Honest.

They later chose to come in for a physical consultation, and in that moment, Lwazi looked at her mom and said,
“I trust her. We can go with her.”
That trust is everything.

What we created next was nothing short of a masterpiece — a golden dream brought to life.
Gold tones, crystals, rhinestones… every detail intentional.
So important to me that I sourced special elements outside of South Africa, because ordinary was never an option.

At her first fitting, something in me knew — this dress still needed more.
And when something doesn’t feel complete, I listen.
I ordered premium detailing all the way from Nigeria to perfect her bust area, because excellence has no borders.

By the time she came in for collection, the dress had transformed completely.
It looked nothing like the fitting — and everything like the vision.

When she walked in for her final fitting… I paused.
Looked at her.
And said to myself, “Yes. This is my golden girl.” ✨

One thing I deeply loved throughout this journey was her mom’s constant question:
“Lwazi, are you happy?”
Not placing her own feelings first — but making sure her daughter felt seen, heard, and truly happy. That matters.

From premium lace, crystals sourced beyond borders, bead-by-bead craftsmanship, and rhinestones laid with love — this is more than a dress.
This is trust. Integrity. And heart.

This is Lwazi 🤍
And I’m proud of every detail.

I met this beautiful bride, Vonani, during her very first consultation 🤍
She walked in wanting only a reception dress. Just one. Or so we thought.

We sat down with her beautiful friend, and from the very first moment, we clicked. Effortlessly. We spoke, we laughed, we explored ideas. Vonani was torn between two reception dresses we had done before — decisive, then unsure, then excited all over again. Eventually, we landed on a vision: a stunning reception gown with silver, heavy lace, and crystal details on the sleeves… a moment ✨

Little did I know, while we were speaking, something else was forming quietly in her heart.
She already knew.

After traveling abroad, I received a message:
“Prue, don’t kill me… can you please make my first dress as well?” 🤍

There was no second consultation. No call. No back-and-forth.
She simply said, “Do whatever you want. Here is the money. I just want a ball gown. I want something extraordinary.”
The only request? The two dresses had to be completely different.

I remember asking myself, how do I even do this?
And then… we created that gown.

When it was time to dress Vonani, the atmosphere shifted. God was present. So present.
It’s a moment I will never forget.

And let me say this — in all of 2025, Vonani was the most excited bride I’ve ever worked with. She wasn’t just happy internally. She was singing. Dancing. Screaming. Pointing at us. Fully present. Fully joyful. Fully alive.

The way her friend reacted when she saw her in that dress told me everything about who she is.
And the way her husband reacted as she walked down the aisle?
That showed me this love is real. Pure. Genuine.

Vonani, thank you for trusting me so fully 🤍
For allowing me to create freely.
For your joy, your spirit, your heart.

“This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.”
— Psalm 118:23

This is why we do what we do.
This is couture.
This is purpose.
This is God.

It’s stories like this that remind me how faithful God truly is ,💖

When I first met Unathi, she came all the way from the Free State with her mom, dad, and little sister — just to make her dream matric dance gown. I remember how she was so unsure about which color to go for, and I said, “Let’s trust the process.” Choosing this sweet pink was divine. It looks like it was made for her — so soft, so elegant, and it glows perfectly on her skin. 🌸

But what truly touched my heart was the love between her and her little sister. She was so devoted — making sure every detail went right, holding her hand, and wanting her big sister to have the most beautiful experience. When Unathi came in for her final fitting, her little sister literally cried seeing how stunning she looked. Her mom was speechless. It was such a sacred moment — one that reminded me that what we do goes far beyond fashion; it’s ministry, it’s love, it’s purpose.

Every rhinestone, every silver detail, every appliqué was laid down with prayer, intention, and grace. ✨ This gown is a reflection of God’s beauty through craft — a reminder that He’s in every detail.

To Unathi and your beautiful family, thank you for trusting me and traveling so far to make this dream come true. I don’t take it lightly — your faith, your love, and your journey truly blessed me. May God continue to cover your path with favor and light. 🙏🏽💖

✨Two women, two visions, one divine alignment.
A sisterhood rooted in grace, purpose, and passion for fashion.

From the very first day I met Precious — the hug, the laughter, and the way she spoke with so much conviction — I knew this connection was divine. In an age where many chase money and status, finding a woman so rooted in purpose, integrity, and the Word of God felt like a breath of fresh air.

She is a powerhouse in every sense — a woman who teaches with passion, serves with humility, and creates with intention. What I admire most is her heart: the way she pours into others, how she gives her all to every person she teaches, and how she never cuts corners. Her excellence is her ministry.

Working and walking alongside her has been nothing short of beautiful. It’s rare to meet someone who shares the same heartbeat — to serve, to grow, to lift others, and to build the fashion industry with grace and honesty. Standing next to her feels like standing next to a reflection of purpose — two women fixing each other’s crowns, understanding that together we can do much more.

This bond isn’t just collaboration — it’s a God-ordained sisterhood. And I’m beyond grateful that our paths crossed.
May we continue to build, teach, and serve — not for the applause, but for the impact and the glory of God.

Rebone’s Instinct, A Designer’s Craft ✨

When Rebone first walked into my studio, she said, “I just want to see your craft in person before I decide.” We had such a beautiful meeting, and I told her, “I don’t have much to say or show you right now, but if your instinct tells you to go with me—we can create magic together.”

She trusted that instinct. After our meeting, she reached out and said, “I’ve decided—I want you to make my dress.” From that moment, our journey began.

Her fittings were unforgettable. The first time she tried on her gown, with her maid of honor and her mama by her side, the dress fit her like a glove. The room was filled with joy, music, and the kind of peace only God’s presence brings.

What I love most about Rebone is not just her elegance, but the beautiful relationship she shares with her mama and how her spirit is so deeply rooted in the Word of God. It made the entire process even more meaningful.

She envisioned a two-in-one gown—a seamless transition from a regal ball gown to a fitted mermaid silhouette. Every bead, rhinestone, and applique on this masterpiece was placed with love and intention.

Congratulations, sis 💍🤍. I am so happy for you, and it was an honor to bring your vision to life. May your marriage be as graceful and blessed as your spirit.

✨ From the very first moment Kgasi walked into my office with her mom, I knew this journey was going to be special. We sat on the couches and started talking about her matric dance gown, and instantly, we just clicked.

She knew exactly what she wanted — “forever blue.” 💙 Every detail of the conversation circled back to blue, and I could feel how sentimental this day was for both her and her mom. Their bond struck me deeply — not only mother and daughter, but true friends who finish each other’s sentences, laugh together, and share a closeness that is truly rare.

When Kgasi said, “I have so many ideas, I don’t know if we can put them together,” I smiled and reminded her, “That’s the beauty of couture — explain it to me, and we’ll bring it to life.” And with God’s grace and guidance, that’s exactly what we did.

We created a stunning U-shaped bodice, soft side detailing, and layered shades of blue with delicate crystals and rhinestones to give the gown dimension and light. The day she tried it on, she playfully told me how her mom would react — and of course, her mom reacted exactly as she said. That’s how strong their bond is, a reflection of God’s gift of family and love.

What touched me even more was the intentional support from her mom — even painting her nails the same shade of blue to honor her daughter’s vision. 💙 Moments like these remind me why I do what I do: it’s not just about the gown, it’s about creating memories, celebrating love, and glorifying God through every stitch.

Kgasi, you were truly breathtaking. May you continue to shine in His light as beautifully as you shined in your dress. ✨
