According to the legend, in 1889 Queen Margherita summoned the most famous pizza maker in Naples to bake a multitude of pizzas. Her favorite pizza was the one with tomatoes, mozzarella slices and basil which perhaps inspired the Margherita pizza and contains the colors of the italian flag. 🇮🇹
