Meet the Ilze Wrap Dress 💙
Ilze is kind, warm and humble. She never demands attention, never puts herself at the centre, and serves the people around her without needing anyone to notice. She is feminine in the gentlest sense — a Mary kind of woman, an honouring wife.
Most of all, we treasure her as a mother. She was born to be one. The journey to motherhood wasn’t always easy, and yet there is hope, thankfulness and contentment in her heart. She understands what it is to carry your cross daily and still surrender to God’s plans and His ways. She carries a piece of Jesus’ heart, and it shows in the empathy she has for everyone she meets.

Her dress had to be just as soft and just as strong. A floral wrap in lightweight viscose linen, cut as a full circle in a maxi length, so it moves beautifully and wraps to fit you.

Before it has a name, it's a paper pattern on a table ✂️

Every Inspiration Dress starts the same way. The pattern is laid out and cut, piece by piece. The fabric is smoothed flat, pinned, and cut again, then the pieces move to the machine, the bodice joined, the sleeve shaped and set, the hem turned, the seams pressed open so they lie flat and clean.

Hours of work, by hands that have done it a thousand times, right here in South Africa.

This is what slow fashion actually looks like. Not a factory line, but real people who care whether your sleeve sits right on your shoulder. It's why your dress takes longer, and it's why it lasts.

Anmari wore her Paulette Dress at her Rou + Reel filming, and her favourite parts are the colours and how elegant it feels on.

She's right about both. The floral dobby chiffon carries that soft wash of colour, fully lined in 100% cotton voile so it drapes beautifully and never clings. A 3/4 sleeve gathered at the elastic hem, a crisp white cotton trim, and a quiet kind of elegance that works for church, a lunch or a celebration.
It's named for our Paulette, and it carries her story — sheer fabric that needs a lining, the way faith is held up by keeping your gaze on God.
