This dress was a true example of how compromising can turn into something beautiful! With a limited selection of fabrics to choose from in this city, it’s not always easy to get exactly what you want. Isla sacrificed her dream red dress and chose this exquisite silver/gold beaded lace and overlayed it on a classic navy, allowing every small detail in the fabric to stand out and what an absolutely beautiful final product it turned out to be! Thank you for trusting me to make your dream dress Isla and for truly appreciating the creativity that goes into making a dress - being a creative herself she even made Bailey a crocheted bandana as a thank you 🫶🥹

What makes what I do so special is being part of life’s biggest moments 🤍
I’ve been so fortunate to share in many of the Calthorpe family’s milestones. I had the privilege of sewing for her two older siblings’ weddings, and most meaningfully, I made Jordan’s matric dance dress—and now her wedding dress. She even rewore the veil I created for her sister.
They are a family I’ve truly treasured working with—so kind and gentle—and it’s such a joy to have been part of their journey. Maybe one day I’ll be making dresses for the next generation too ✨
