Back at Vellie headquarters we mould the soles for your fantastic vellies using an environmentally-friendly material called TPR = Thermoplastic rubber. TPR has a rubber content depending on the quality of about 20-30% rubber. It is a non-slip, medium weight material ideal for your vellies, comfortable and durable underfoot. All waste is recycled and then re-used - we blend the regrind into virgin material at never more than a 10% ratio to new granules. All done on on-site to reduce unnecessary handling.
