We create unique Township® Fair Trade bags and accessories using exclusive printed fabric, all produced by women-owned sewing cooperatives based in Cape Town township communities There are few places on earth that contain more contrasts and contradictions, unexpected beauty, irrepressible style and sheer inventiveness than South Africa’s townships. Our range of bags and accessories – for men, wom

en and kids – features unique township-inspired prints developed by founder Nicole-Marie Iresch, in collaboration with the legendary École Duperré School of Applied Arts in Paris. All Township® items are lovingly handcrafted in Cape Town, largely by independent sewing co-ops in township communities.
