POV: You’re behind the scenes of a very merry little production 🎄

Our personalised Christmas stockings were inspired by the BIG stocking you see at the beginning of this video.

That stocking was such a big part of our childhood Christmases.

For as long as I can remember, Dale and I absolutely LOVED Christmas (and celebrating all the little things, really). I think a lot of that came from the magic our parents created for us. ❤️

We would beg to sleep next to the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, hoping to catch Santa in action. We’d leave out milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for his reindeer.

And Christmas Day would be filled with lots of food, lots of family and so many happy memories.

Christmas has always held such a special place in my heart. Not just because of the presents or the excitement, but because of the time spent together, the little traditions and remembering the true reason we celebrate Christmas. ❤️

And I guess that’s why these stockings mean a little more to me. They’re inspired by a childhood filled with love, magic and memories I will treasure forever.

EEEEPP! 🌍✈️ Our very FIRST international order!

Earlier this year, we launched international shipping on our website, and then we patiently waited and waited for our first international order.

As a small business, advertising internationally isn't really in our budget just yet. So you can imagine our excitement when this order came in.

The thought that someone outside of South Africa found our little brand and chose something made by our hands, right here in Cape Town, is SO special to us! ❤️

It might seem like just another order, but to us, it's a pretty BIG moment!

And that’s probably our favourite part. Taking something that already means something to you and figuring out how to turn it into embroidery.

I’m so excited about the new Christmas stockings we’ve added to our range this year, especially the large one, because there’s a little story behind it. 🎄❤️

When Dale and I were little, we both had these BIG Christmas stockings. I still remember packing all our presents into them before heading off to visit our grannies and grampas on Christmas Day. ❤️

It’s such a simple little memory, but one that has always stuck with me.

Last year we had a lot of enquiries about personalised Christmas stockings so we thought why not.

And when we decided to add Christmas stockings to our range, I knew we had to make a BIG one, just like the ones we grew up with.

And that’s how our 72 cm Christmas stocking came about! 🎄
