Yes, every order that comes through our website makes our day, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every order we recieve.

But there are so many other ways to support a small business without even realising it.

Every friend that is tagged who might love what we create.

Those moments matter more than you know.

As small business owners, we pour our hearts into what we do. So when someone takes a few seconds to show their support, it reminds us that someone believes in what we’re building.

This was something that we had not thought about before. A line drawing embroidered onto the strip of the front panel of one of our Two-Tone Crew Neck Sweaters.

This line drawing was of their family farm.

A farm is more than fences and fields. It’s early mornings, family traditions, hard work, childhood memories and a legacy that lives on.

The sweater was a birthday gift for the customer’s husband, who had recently inherited the family farm.

And I couldn’t stop thinking about how special that was.

For us, it is never just about creating and sewing a sweater.

It’s about creating something that carries meaning.
Something that tells a story.
Something that reminds someone of the people and places they hold close to their heart.

These are the orders that remind us why we started Dale Raine.

Because we believe the most meaningful clothing isn’t just personalised... it’s personal. 🤍

When something starts trending on instagram, I often want to know if there is a meaning behind it.

So as most of you know the "kinda chic" posts are all over instagram at the moment.

And if you know me then you know that I love the story behind something or knowing if there is a meaning behind something.

So I googled what the "kinda chic" trend is about.

And realised that this is something we would like to be part of.

The idea behind the "kinda chic" posts is to romatanize the ordinary, the unpolished and the unconventional parts of life.

Such as:
Wearing the outfit (or sweater) you love on repeat
Learning to set boundaries
Trying to rest when you need to
Choosing comfort
Trying to let go of perfection
Doing things in a way that works for you

And if I'm being honest, these things are often easier said than done, but I do think we need to be reminded that's its okay especially when things aren't perfect.

And maybe the real luxury of life is simply feeling good and being content in the life you are living 🤍

So let's learn to celebrate the ordinary moments, the homes that are messy because they are actually lived in, having a favourite sweater, allowing yourself slow mornings, loving the choas that comes with family life and choosing peace over perfection.

Because that is "kinda chic" 😉🤍

If this audio could describe how excited I got every time I packaged an Est. In 2026 item this year... this would be it. 🥹🤍

I have found myself smiling every time I have packaged an Est. 2026 sweater or a tiny personalised Snuggle Sweater this year.

From the teeny tiny 3-month sweaters to the Mamma and Pappa sweaters announcing a growing family.

Every single order has reminded me what an incredible privilege it is to create clothing that becomes part of someone’s biggest milestones.

And now, for the very first time...Our little family gets to be part of the Est. 2026 club too. 🤍

It’s a little surreal.

For the last two years, we’ve celebrated alongside so many families as they announced pregnancies, welcomed babies, and shared the sweetest news with the people they love.

What an honour it is to not only create these special pieces, but to truly understand the excitement, anticipation, and love behind every order.

Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your family’s story.
