Hi everyone, if you grew up in Cape Town I'm sure you remember finding chameleons in the garden and on hedges. But sadly how many of you have seen a chameleon in years? The hedges are gone replaced by walls and if the chameleon manages to climb the wall he gets zapped by the electric fence on the top. Please take the time to share this book with your children and grandchildren and lets try and save our chameleons before its too late. If you are pruning bushes in the garden please check every branch before you throw it away. The weather is warming up and now is the time the chameleons lay their live young. They are very small and can easily just be thrown away into a chipper. SAVE the CHAMELEONS

Yeh!! Just found a chameleon warming up in the early morning sun. Haven't see one for nearly a year. Please be careful if you are doing any pruning and check all branches you cut that you haven't taken a chameleon as well.
