SCAM ALERT! 🚨

Motorists have been warned to be on the look-out for scammers allegedly offering to fast-track vehicle license renewals for a penny. The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) says scammers are claiming to facilitate vehicle license renewal applications for payments of up to R450. RTMC spokesperson Simon Zwane warned members of the public against falling for offers of assistance that come with a price tag. He added that there is no application fee for accessing any of its services. Should motorists encounter such schemes, they are urged to report them to law enforcement.
