As an avid crocheter, it is inevitable that I have a few WIP’s (Work In Progress) lying around. Okay, it’s more than a few but who’s counting right? 😉
I have this amazing gift of starting a new project with so much passion and excitement, only to stop right before I’m almost done. The reason for this is simply not my fault...new yarn, new idea while working on another idea, orders coming in, change in season...all valid reasons! This one is no exception!🫰
The Cherry Summer Tank is a beautiful granny square tank top made with 100% cotton yarn to accommodate the heat of our South African summers. I had the idea to make a couple of crocheted summer tops by the time Spring arrives (which is in less than a month) and I am not even close! I still need to add another round on top and then make the straps. So I’m dedicated to this project now. (Weaving in all those ends is not my favourite, but I know it will be worth it in the end.)
I am imagining this top in a one-colour design, and maybe a cream version too for versatilty. Be sure to watch my Youtube Channel
