The process of falling in love with a jacket...

Beloved Clarens local Georgie came in for a visit today and spotted this jacket. It was love at first sight, and as soon as she tried it on, she knew it had to be hers. This is how you should feel about a special item like this!

Twinning with Luci van Schalkwyk in one of our favourite looks for winter!

This recipe is so easy to follow and works perfectly for days when you don't have the time or energy to put together a new outfit BUT you still want to wear something fun and interesting.

You start with a base layer of your favourite jeans and cotton top or jersey, and your favourite ankle- or knee length boots and then add the star of the show - one of our incredible embroidered jackets. So simple but so stunning!

We couldn't NOT throwback to these absolutely stunning jackets and coats from last season.

What an incredible afternoon we spent capturing these with our friend Luci. She's one of those people you simply notice — that funky sense of style, paired with a warmth, kindness and positivity that's impossible to forget. Luci epitomises wearing what you love and not worrying about what anyone else thinks.

She's been a friend and supporter of The Emporium for years, and we're lucky to call her a personal friend too.
